Velociraptor inhabited the Earth during the Late Cretaceous when the climate was warm and dry. Velociraptor was 1.5 - 2.0 metres in length and stood between 5 and 6 ft tall. This animal would have been capable of attaining speeds between 40 and 60 km/h.
