| This is a fossil of a small dinosaur, Compsognathus longipes, Wagner, with a small lizard in its gut (width of picture is 315 mm, or about the size of a chicken). This happens to be the only dinosaur ever found in these limestones (modified from Walker et. al., 1992). |
