A piece of 20-25 million year old Dominican amber showing
the classic spider-fly encounter. The spider,
(probably a jumping spider) appears to be in the process of attacking
the fly, (probably a cranefly) when both were
entombed by a resin flow. The "web" that you see is probably just stress lines coincidentally produced
in the resin.
