The colour of the Chitinozoa wall is usually black and opaque, but some have been noted as brown and translucent. They are vase-shaped chambers and have organic walls that are radially symmetrical about the longitudinal axis. Their immediate appearance dictates a relatively simple morphology. They have shoulders, a flank, an oral tube, a neck, a base, a basil margin, appendices or spines of some form, and a vesicle wall. |
